The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Sudamdih P.S. Case No. 30 of 2025, registered for the offence under Sections 85, 115(2), 126(2), 352, 351(2), 351(3) and 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to the husband of the informant and wife has instituted a case against the petitioner and other in-laws. He next submits that the father-in-law and mother-in-law have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 1350 of 2026 by this court.

Learned A.P.P. appearing for the State and learned counsel appearing for the informant have jointly opposed the prayer and they submit that the allegations are there of making demand of dowry against the petitioner.

Considering that the petitioner happened to be the husband of the informant and further the father-in-law and mother-in-law of the informant have already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in the aforementioned A.B.A. and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, named above, is directed to surrender before the learned Court within two weeks from today and the learned Court shall release the petitioner on such terms and conditions or the sureties as the learned Court may deem fit and proper.
