1. None appears for the petitioner on call. However, Mr. R. Dhar, learned Standing Counsel for the Handloom and Textile Department representing the respondent Nos. 1 and 3, is present. 2.
Taking note of the fact that the counsel representing the petitioners had in the meantime expired, the Registry was directed to communicate the order dated 16.02.2024 to the petitioners. 3. Office notes reflect that such a communication has duly been served upon the petitioner No. 7, though, others could not be served as they were not found at the address. 4. The present petition is filed seeking arrears of revision of pay w.e.f. 01.01.1996 to 31.05.2001 and leave salary for unutilized leave for 90 days and the interest thereon. 5. It is a pleaded case of the petitioners that they were employees of Assam Government Marketing Corporation Limited and obtained Voluntary Retirement from service under a specific scheme. Their claim is that as per the Voluntary Retirement Scheme, they were allowed to draw unutilized leave salary for maximum 240 days but they have been
Page No.# 4/4 paid only 150 days unutilized leave salary and they are entitled for arrears of revised salary as recorded hereinabove. 6. Be that as it may, as none appears for the petitioners on call, this writ petition stands dismissed for non prosecution. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
