Petitioner is before this Court calling in question registration of a crime in Crime No. 151 of 2026 registered for offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 336(3), 338 and 340(2) of the BNS.

2. Heard Sri Ananda H. J., learned counsel appearing for petitioner, Smt Deepthi Alva, learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent No.1 and Sri B. M. Arun,
learned counsel appearing for respondent No.2.
3. A perusal at the complaint would indicate that the matter requires investigation, as the complainant alleges forgery of certain documents or placing the forged document before the authorities for benefit. There is no civil suit pending between the parties or any other proceeding pending before any other fora. It is instituted only on the alleged forgery and cheating. The investigation thus shall ensue.
4. The petitioner is at liberty to knock at the doors of this Court, in the event, the police after investigation would file a final report and the final report would go against the petitioner.
Petition stands disposed. Consequently, I.A.No.1 of 2026 also stands disposed.
