By the present writ petition, the petitioner, who is presently posted as Superintendent in the Office of the District Program Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Ambikapur, District Surguja, seeks quashment of the transfer order dated 29.07.2026 (Annexure P/1), whereby he has been transferred from District Surguja to District Balrampur. 2. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, it is pertinent to observe that this Court has consistently held in a number of cases that Clause 8 of the State Transfer Policy, 2025 provides an efficacious mechanism for redressal of grievances relating to transfer through the Committee constituted thereunder. In the event an employee is aggrieved by a transfer order, he is at liberty to approach the said Committee by submitting an appropriate representation. Accordingly, if the petitioner has any grievance with regard to the impugned transfer order, he shall be at liberty to submit a fresh representation before the said Committee, and upon such representation being filed, the Committee shall consider and decide the same, strictly in accordance with law. 3 3. Accordingly, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Committee constituted under Clause 8 of the State Transfer Policy, 2025 by submitting an appropriate representation, if so advised.
