29/07/2026 D/L – 59 Court No.35 S. Kundu Allowed C.R.M.(NDPS) 1438 of 2026 In Re: An application for bail under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023. In connection with English Bazar P.S Case no. 1766 of 2025 dated 13/08/2025 under Sections 21(c)/27A/29 of the NDPS Act. In the matter of: Md. Aniul Islam …Petitioner. Mr. Arnab Saha Mr. Abhimanyu Banerjee Mr. Abdul Noomch …for the petitioner. Mr. Shataroop Purkayashtha …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is similarly placed as the other accused who has been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 507 of 2026. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail but, however, he is unable to refute the locus of the present petitioner with the other accused who has been granted bail. Having considered the situational parity existing, I am inclined to extend the benefit of bail to the present petitioner. The petitioner be released on same terms and conditions which was imposed upon Jamiul Hoque in CRM (NDPS) 507 of 2026. Thus, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1438 of 2026 is allowed. 2 All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
