The earlier order reflects that the petitioner was granted liberty to approach the court after the evidence of the CSW2 and CSW 10 is over. Learned advocate for the State submits that the evidence of CSW2 and CSW 10 has been completed. Having considered the fact that the petitioner is in custody for one year nine months and some other accused persons have been released on bail, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail as some time will be required to take the trial to its logical conclusion. 2 Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner viz, Raju Mandal @ Raju Mondal shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs.20,000/-(Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the Learned ACJM, Jangipur. If on bail, the petitioner shall also make himself physically available on each and every date so fixed by the learned trial court and shall not leave the district of Murshidabad without prior permission of the learned trial court. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1550 of 2026 is allowed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
