In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Hili Police Station Case No.193 of 2025 dated 16.09.2025 under Sections 351(2)/89 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023;
Jaba Roy @ Jayanti Barman Versus The State of West Bengal & Anr.
Mr. Koushik Chowdhury. …for the petitioner.
Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya Mr. Koustav Lal Mukherjee. …for the State.
I have taken into account the materials appearing in the present case.
Mr. Bhattacharya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appears on behalf of the State.
Having considered the materials appearing, I am of the opinion that the petitioner be well advised to approach the regular court for bail. Learned jurisdictional court will consider the prayer for bail independently irrespective of any observations made by this Court.
However, so far as anticipatory bail application is concerned, CRM(A)1208 of 2026 is deemed to be dismissed as not pressed.
All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
