And In the matter of : Nurai Seikh. ……Petitioner. Mr. Abir Rajanj Neogi Mr. Moyukh Mukherjee Mr. Karan Bapuli .....for the Petitioner. Mr. Somnath Bera ……for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for more than a year and charges have already been framed, as such petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail emphasizing on the magnitude of the offence which has been committed. I have taken into account the facts of the present case and having considered that witness action is about to commence, at this stage, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM (M) 1568 of 2026 is dismissed. Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of vulnerable witnesses are over. 2 Memo of evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
