1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the writ petitioners is taken on record.
2. Learned advocate representing the petitioners submits that right of the petitioners to cultivate the land in question is denied by respondent nos.5, 6 and 7 prompting the petitioners to approach this Court with the present writ petition seeking direction upon the police authorities to take steps which would facilitate the petitioners to cultivate the land in question.
3. Learned advocate representing respondent nos.5 to 7 has opposed the writ petition and it is submitted that right of the writ petitioners to cultivate the land in question is disputed.
4. State-Respondents are represented by learned advocates.
5. Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties, it appears that the issue involved in this writ petition relates to right of respective parties to have possession over the land in question requiring the parties to approach Civil Court in pursuit of remedy. Police authority is not the appropriate authority to decide inter se right of the parties over the agricultural land in question.
6. In aforesaid conspectus, present writ petition is not interfered with and same stands dismissed.
7. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioners to approach appropriate forum.
8. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
