In this writ petition, petitioners have sought for a direction to consider the representation dated 18.05.2026 (Annexure-A), consequently change the revenue records in the name of the petitioners, in respect of the subject land. 3. Having taken note of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties and on careful consideration of the representation dated 18.05.2026 (Annexure-A), wherein it is stated that, the land in - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010457222026 NC: 2026:KHC:37720 WP No. 20706 of 2026 question has been granted to the father-in-law/ grandfather of the petitioners herein. However, no revenue records have been changed since 1982. 4. In that view of the matter, taking into consideration that the petitioners have not taken any steps for a period of 44 years, I am of the view that, no interference is called for to direct respondent Nos. 1 and 2 to consider the representation. However, it is open for the petitioners to establish their right in respect of the subject land in a manner known to law. 5. With the above observations, petition stands disposed of.
