Case No. 574 of 2023, arising out of Islampur Police Station Case No. 131 of 2023 dated 9 March 2023, registered under Sections 302 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, read with Sections 25, 27 and 35 of the Arms Act, which is presently pending before the Court of the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Islampur, Uttar Dinajpur. It appears that the Learned Magistrate in the Court below has fixed 20 August 2026 for hearing of the said protest petition. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, this Court finds no justification in keeping the present application 2 pending. Accordingly, this revisional application stands disposed of with a direction upon the Learned Magistrate in the Court below to dispose of the said protest petition, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order.
