The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking the release and disbursement of arrear salary and gratuity of his late father, a former Inspector in the Backward Classes Welfare Department. 2. The report filed by the respondent no. 1 in terms of the order dated June 8, 2026, reveals that the arrears of salary have already been made over to the petitioner and steps have been taken by the department to forward all requisite papers of the petitioner to the Principal Accountant General (A & E), West Bengal on June 23, 2026. 3. The Principal Accountant General (A & E), West Bengal is directed to consider all documents which have been forwarded to him within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order. If found eligible, the gratuity amount will be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of two weeks thereafter. 4. With the afore-stated directions, WPA 4458 of 2026 is disposed of. 5.
