The petitioner has filed this petition seeking following relief: “(i) issue a writ of mandamus or any appropriate writ or order or direction in the nature of writ directing the respondents to release of the payment of Rs.20,37,024/- to her as per the sanction order No.RJDM-SS10GEN/3/2023-C No- 1195728 /379(A) dated 18.06.2024 and order No. Prakamy/Kashie/283/ Swavamnivruthi / 2014-15 / 1115 dated 21.10.2024 letters Annexure-B and C of Regional Joint Director, Department of Collegiate Education, Regional Office, Mysuru - respondent No.4, within a time frame along with interest at 15 per cent from 25.11.2015 till date of payment .” 2. The petitioner has submitted a representation vide Annexure-D dated 28.01.2026 requesting the - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010415252026 NC: 2026:KHC:37456 WP No. 18920 of 2026 respondents to release the payment of ₹20,37,024/- as per the sanction order dated 18.06.2024 and 21.10.2024, vide Annexures-B and C respectively. Respondent No.2 did not consider the representation submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-D. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Advocate and perused the records. 4. Learned Addl. Government Advocate submits that if a reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 will consider the representation submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-D and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. 5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Government Advocate, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 28.01.2026 submitted by - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010415252026 NC: 2026:KHC:37456 WP No. 18920 of 2026 the petitioner vide Annexure ‘D’ and pass an appropriate order, in accordance with law, within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
