Applicant(s) versus 1 - State Of Chhattisgarh Through The Secretary, Public Works Department, Mahanadi Bhavan, Mantralaya, Atal Nagar, Raipur, District Raipur Chhattisgarh. 2 - Assistant Commissioner Tribal Development Department, Dantewada, District Dantewada Chhattisgarh. 3 - Collector South Bastar Dantewada, District Dantewada Chhattisgarh. 4 - General Manager N.M.D.C. Circle Kirandul, District South Bastar Dantewada Chhattisgarh, District Dantewada Chhattisgarh. ... Respondent(s) For Applicant(s) : Mr. Sourabh Sonwani, Advocate. For Respondent(s)/State : Mr. S. S. Choubey, G.A. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad Order on Board 06/08/2026 RAGHVENDRA JAT Digitally signed by RAGHVENDRA JAT 2 1. By way of this MCC, the applicant has prayed for following reliefs:- “It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this application for correction of name in order dated 30.03.2026 as well as in the entire W.P.(C) 1892/2020, in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant/petitioner had filed W.P.(C) No. 1892 of 2020, which came to be allowed by this Court vide order dated 30.03.2026. It is submitted that, due to an inadvertent and bona fide typographical error, the name of the petitioner's firm was mentioned throughout the writ petition as "Maa Danteshwari Decorators & Tent House" instead of its correct name, "Jai Maa Kali Tent House and Catering." Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is the proprietor of two separate firms and, owing to an inadvertent oversight, the incorrect firm name was mentioned in the pleadings, which consequently came to be reflected in the order dated 30.03.2026. It is submitted that the said error came to the petitioner's notice only upon subsequent verification of the records and documents. Since the mistake is purely clerical, inadvertent, and unintentional, the present Miscellaneous Civil Case has been filed seeking correction of the petitioner's firm name in the order dated 30.03.2026. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the State fairly submits he has no objection if the typographical error in the name of the petitioner's firm is corrected. 3 4. Having considered the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties and there being no objection from the State, this Court is satisfied that the error is purely clerical and inadvertent in nature. 5. Accordingly, the present MCC is allowed. It is directed that wherever the name of the petitioner's firm has been mentioned in the order dated 30.03.2026 passed in W.P.(C) No. 1892 of 2020 as "Maa Danteshwari Decorators & Tent House," the same shall be read and corrected as "Jai Maa Kali Tent House and Catering."
