M. Bhattacharya … for the State-respondent(s) Having considered that the present application relates to Mumbai East Cyber Crime Police Station involving Crypto currency fraud and the police authorities from Mumbai came to Kolkata to conduct regular search and the petitioner was not traceable; the report submitted through the learned Additional Public Prosecutor by the jurisdictional police station being Cyber Police Station, Central Region, Worli, Mumbai depicting that the petitioner’s custodial interrogation may be warranted, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for extending any relief as sought for in this application. 2 Mr. Krishnendu Bhattacharya, learned APP, appears for the State along with a junior of his choice as per the direction of this court. The appointment of both Mr. Bhattacharya and the junior of his choice, if any, be regularized by the concerned authority. Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 1335 of 2026 is dismissed. Report submitted be kept with the record.
