The present application was filed on 08.05.2026 and since then on repeated occasions the bail application has been called. However, none represented the present petitioner. As such, the bail application is taken up on merits. Mr. Das, learned advocate appearing for the NCB has submitted a report which reflects that the subject-matter of the case relates to alleged seizure of 2.220 kgs. of Cocaine on 09.07.2025 and there is an antecedent of the present petitioner in respect of offence under the NDPS Act. So far as the present petitioner is concerned, having considered the antecedent of the present petitioner and gravity of the present case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the NCB be kept with the record. 2 The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 967 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
