(Oral) The petition under Section 528 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeks following reliefs: (i) direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to arrest private respondent No. 4 in FIR No. 0028 dated 31.01.2026 under Sections 316, 61(2) Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Police Station Lambi, District Sri Muktsar Sahib; (ii) direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to file status report in subject FIR; Learned State counsel, at the outset, on instructions from Constable Nishan Singh submits that the FIR has been cancelled by the police and cancellation report has been prepared.
