Petitioner submits that petitioner would appear before the jurisdictional court and apprehends that he may be arrested. Mr. Bhattacharya, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, appears on behalf of the State. Having considered that the case is of Fategarh, U.P., I direct that the petitioner may not be arrested in connection with the present case within the State of West Bengal provided the petitioner surrenders within a period of four weeks before the jurisdictional court having domain over Kotwali, Fategarh, U.P. This order will remain in force for a period of four weeks from date. Thereafter, the Officers of Fatehgarh will be at liberty to exercise their powers under the BNSS. 2 With the aforesaid observations, CRM(A)1035 of 2026 is disposed of. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
