I has been submitted that the learned Judge of the trial court was on leave, as such, argument could not be completed within the time frame as provided in the said order. The case is at an advanced stage. As such, some opportunity must be granted to the prosecution as well as the learned trial court to complete the argument. Having regard to the grounds which have been assigned, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. 2 However, the learned trial court would put in efforts to complete the argument and pronounce the verdict within the specified time as directed earlier. With the aforesaid observations, CRM (M) 1557 of 2026 is disposed of. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
