The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile 438 Cr.P.C.) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.39 dated 14.03.2026 under Sections 308(2) and 3(5) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 at Police Station Sudhar, District Ludhiana Rural, Punjab. 2. This Court, vide order dated 22.04.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order of this Court, the petitioner has joined and cooperated with the investigation on 11.05.2026.
