1. Heard Mr. H. Boruah, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. Bhaskar Sharma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.
2. This is an application filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, whereby the petitioners, (1). Smti. Sonmoni Kuli, (2). Smti. Nabanita Kuli and (3). Sri. Dipu Gogoi have prayed for releasing them on bail after they were arrested in connection with Gohpur P.S. Case No.04/2026 under Sections 61(2)/308/316(2)/318(4) of the BNS.
3. The mandatory period of detention is almost over.
4. After going through the Case Diary, it appears that no custodial interrogation is necessary in this case. Therefore, the bail application of the petitioners is allowed.
5. The petitioners, (1). Smti. Sonmoni Kuli, (2). Smti. Nabanita Kuli and (3). Sri. Dipu Gogoi, who were arrested in connection with Gohpur P.S. Case No.04/2026 shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- each with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate (M), Gohpur.
