The petitioner is an accused in connection with Nawadih P.S. Case No. 18/2022. A dacoity was committed in the Power Sub-station and copper coils were looted. The petitioner appears to have been implicated on the confessional statement of co-accused Riyaz Khan and Sikandar Ansari and both have been granted bail in B.A. No. 6760 of 2022 and B.A. No. 8397 of 2024 respectively. Learned counsel submits that neither Test Identification Parade was conducted, nor there is any recovery of any incriminating articles from the possession of the petitioner. Learned counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 18.09.2025. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent. However considering the manner of implication of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bermo at Tenughat in connection with Nawadih P.S. Case No. 18/2022. This application stands allowed. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.) Dated- 23rd March, 2026.
