Heard Mr. Rajeev Shrivastava, learned Senior Advocate with Mr. Arjit Tiwari and Ms. Richa Patel, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. Praveen Das, learned Addl. Advocate General, appearing for the State-respondents. 2. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief(s) :- “10.1 That, this hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction calling for the entire original record relating to Crime No.204/2026, for kind perusal of this Hon'ble Court; 10.2. Issue an appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside the First Information Report bearing Crime No.204/2026 registered at Police Station Pachpedi, District Bilaspur, for the offences punishable under Sections 3(5) and 309 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, together with all consequential proceedings 3 arising therefrom. 10.3. That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass any other writ/ writs, order/ orders, relief/ reliefs as may deem appropriate by this Hon'ble Court in the interest of justice and public welfare.” 3. Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that earlier the complainant approached this Court by filing WPCR No.425 of 2026 in connection with Crime No.204/2026 and this Court disposed of the said writ petition vide order dated 30.07.2026 directing the police authorities to ensure that the investigation is conducted strictly in accordance with law, uninfluenced by any extraneous consideration and that the final police report is submitted before the competent Court within the time prescribed under the law. He further submits that the investigation is likely to conclude in pursuance of the order passed by this Court. 4. In view of the submission made by learned counsel for the State, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter. Accordingly, the present petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner that if he would be aggrieved by the result of the investigation, he may take recourse to law.
