Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 3 & 4 and Mr.Abishek Murthy, learned Standing counsel, takes notice on behalf of the 2nd respondent. 3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, aggrieved over the issuance of patta in favour of 2nd respondent, an appeal dated 25.05.2026 was preferred by the petitioner before the 3rd respondent. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s appeal will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, she requests this Court to pass appropriate orders. 6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record. 7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 25.05.2026 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The parties are directed to maintain status quo until the disposal of aforesaid appeal. 8. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No cost.
