For Petitioner(s): Mr.L.Albert Vinod For Respondent(s): Mr.R.Sreedhar,AGP(Pondy) https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13407 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to mutate the house tax and water tax for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition in the name of the petitioner and her siblings, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner had given representations on 16.06.2025, 19.02.2026 and 02.03.2026 to the first respondent along with the supporting documents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the said representations have not been considered by the respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. 3.Mr.R.Sreedhar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. On instructions, he would submit that within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the representations of the petitioner seeking for mutation of the house tax and water tax in the name of the petitioner and her siblings for the subject property will be considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner. 4.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 13407 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 on the petitioner’s representations dated 16.06.2025, 19.02.2026 and 02.03.2026 seeking for mutation of the house tax and water tax in the name of the petitioner and her siblings for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
