Khan, learned counsel appearing for the accused petitioner as well as Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Addl. P.P., Assam appearing for the State respondent. 2. This petition under Section 483 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the accused-petitioner, namely, Wajed Ali, praying for grant of bail in connection with Hajo P.S. Case No.54/2026 under Sections 87 of BNS, 2023. He was arrested on 12.02.2026. Page No.# 2/2 3. As per FIR dated 11.02.2026 it is alleged that the accused person eloped with the informant’s sister though he was a married person having a child and later, the father of the accused person handed over the accused and the informant’s sister to the concerned PS. 4. Case diary was called for but it is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that investigation is already completed in this case and resulted in a charge-sheet, vide CS No. 69/2026 dated 23.03.2026 under Section 87 of BNS. The alleged victim girl has also been recovered. 5. In the given facts and circumstances, it is provided that the accused petitioner named above, shall be released on bail of Rs.40,000/- with one suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of learned concerned court subject to the following conditions that the petitioner: (a) shall be available for trial if one commences. (b) shall not hamper or tamper with the evidence. (c) shall not harass or harm the victim girl or her family members. Violation of bail conditions entails cancellation of bail. 6. Accordingly, this bail application stands allowed and disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
