PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following: ORDER: The Criminal Petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNSS’) by the Petitioners for granting of pre-arrest bail in connection with Crime No.56 of 2026 of Vinukonda Police Station, Palnadu District, registered for the alleged offence punishable under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (for brevity ‘the BNS’). 2. Heard Sri C. Subodh, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Sri K. Sandeep, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor. 3. The Petitioners have not even been arraigned as Accused pursuant to the FIR lodged by the De facto complainant. Their names are also not given in the FIR. The Appraisal Report is also awaited. 4. Therefore, the apprehension of the Petitioners that the police are likely to arrest them is misplaced one. 3 5. The present Criminal Petition has been filed at a premature stage. Therefore, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. It is made clear that the Petitioners may approach this Court as and when the police seek to apprehend them by arraigning them as accused in the present case.
