(Investigation), Hoshiarpur stands constituted and respondent No.9, against whom allegations have been levelled, has been nominated as accused as stated in paragraph No.9 (vi) and insofar as the threat perception is concerned, in that regard, paragraph No.11 is relevant which reads thus: RAJENDER KUMAR 2026.07.15 17:23 I am the author of this document CRWP-7190-2026 -2- “11. That Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur has further reported that threat perception analysis of the petitioner has revealed there is no threat to the petitioner which may justify to provide personal security to Malkiat Singh and his family members. However, keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the safety of Malkiat Singh and his family members shall be ensured through regular police patrolling and surveillance. The contact numbers of DySP, SD/Mukerian, SHO, PS Mukerian Incharge PP Bhangala and Control Room Hoshiarpur has been provided to Malkiat Singh to contact them in case of any urgency or emergency. Thus, the safety and security of the petitioner and his family members shall be ensured through patrolling, surveillance, and direct emergency contacts.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that he is ready and willing to even bear the expenses of police personnel, if they are provided, upon which learned State Counsel states that the same will be considered and decided expeditiously in accordance with law on a representation that may be submitted by him in this regard 3.
