The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Bashistanagar P.S. Case No.50 of 2025, for offence registered under section 17(b), 18(c), 28 and 29 of NDPS Act, pending in court of learned Sessions Judge cum Special Judge, NDPS Cases, Chatra.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that from the possession of the apprehended co-accused 522 grams and 544 grams of afim (opium) has been recovered and name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement of apprehended co- accused and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.15.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the apprehended co-accused have stated that they were going to hand over the said opium to the petitioner.
5. Considering that name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and recovery has been made from the apprehended co-accused and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, the petitioner, above named, is, hereby,
directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks from today, and learned court shall release the petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as the learned court may deem fit and proper.
6. This petition is disposed of.
