Petitioners has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider pending representation and grant arrears of revised pay scale pay scale during from year 2016 to 2021 with 18% interest as directed by the Hon’ble Division Bench as well as Hon’ble Single Bench within stipulated time, in the interest of justice.. 10.2 Any other relief which may be suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case including cost of the petition, may also be granted.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were appointed as Workcharged Contingency Paid Class IV Employees vide appointment order dated 24.07.2013 (Annexure P/2). He submits that pursuant to the order passed by High Court in WA. No. 481/2015 (Prakash Dansena & Ors. Vs. State of Chhattisgarh & Ors.) dated 03.10.2018, the respondent authorities have granted time bound pay scale to the similarly situated employees vide order dated 20.09.2021 w.e.f. 2016. Though the petitioners are getting salary in view of the order 4 dated 20.09.2021, however, the petitioners are also entitled to get the arrears of pay from the 2016 to 2022. Petitioners have submitted representations raising their grievance for payment of arrears of time bound pay scale before the respondent authorities, however, the same is pending consideration and therefore, direction be issued to the Respondent No. 4 to consider and take decision on the representations submitted by the petitioners. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioners are not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 4 to consider and take decision on the representations submitted by the petitioners, she is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioners, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 4 to consider and take decision on the representations dated 10.11.2025 and 23.01.2026 (Annexure P/1) submitted by the petitioners in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of representation. 6.
