When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that as against the impugned order, the petitioner has filed an appeal to the District Revenue Officer, Madurai and already enquiry 2/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.3716 of 2026 notice was also issued on 30.03.2026. Further, the petitioner will be satisfied if the appeal be directed to be disposed of within the time as directed by this Court. 3. The learned Government Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the official respondents would submit that they will dispose of the appeal in the manner known to law, if adequate time is granted. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the sixth respondent would submit that only today he has filed vakalat and he needs to get further instructions from his client with reference to the various averments that are made and to the merits of the case. 5. I have considered the rival submissions made on either side and perused the material records of the case. 6. Considering the nature of issue involved, the District Revenue Officer, Madurai, is suo motu impleaded as the seventh respondent. Mr.R.Parthiban, learned Government Standing Counsel takes notice on behalf of the seventh respondent. 7. In view of the nature of order that this Court proposes to pass, no 3/6 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P.(MD)No.3716 of 2026 further time need to be given to the learned counsel for the sixth respondent. The seventh respondent shall consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 20.03.2026 by issuing due notice to the petitioner as well as the sixth respondent and after conducting enquiry, final orders can be passed as expeditiously as possible, in any event not later than four (4) months from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order. 8. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
