1. Affidavit of service filed in Court today be kept with the records.
2. The petitioner claims to be serving as Samprasarika. She joined service on May 25, 2009.
3. Challenging her appointment, a writ petition was filed by an unsuccessful candidate. The said writ petition being WP 22520 (W) of 2009 [Enayatulla vs. The Director of Panchayat and Rural Development, West Bengal & Ors.] stood disposed of on June 18, 2010 wherein the submission made on behalf of the petitioner herein that she joined the post and was getting honorarium month by month was recorded.
4. The instant writ petition has been filed in December 2024 with the allegation that the petitioner has not been paid her honorarium from May 25, 2009 to December 31, 2010.
5. Prayer has been made to direct the authority to disburse her arrear honorarium. A legal representation on behalf of the petitioner is alleged to be kept pending.

7. The submission made on behalf of the petitioner in the writ petition filed by the unsuccessful candidate challenging the engagement of the petitioner records the submission of the present writ petitioner that she was getting her honorarium month by month.
8. The aforesaid submission is presently denied by the petitioner. The reason for such denial has, however, not been made known to the Court.
9. Such stand of the petitioner is highly unacceptable. The Court on the earlier occasion
disposed of the writ petition after taking into
consideration the submission of the writ petitioner that she was receiving her honorarium month by month.

As presently, the petitioner contends that honorarium for the period May 25, 2009 to December 31, 2010 has not been paid to her, accordingly, the instant writ petition stands disposed of by directing the Block Development Officer, Murarai-II to verify its records to ascertain as to whether the petitioner was paid her honorarium for the aforesaid time period.
11. In the event record reveals that honorarium has not been paid to her despite her rendering service, then steps shall be taken for releasing the honorarium upon compliance of all necessary formalities at the earliest.

12. Steps shall be taken by the Block Development Officer within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.
13. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
14. Certified server copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of all requisite formalities.
