Mr. Shoham Sanyal …for the petitioner Mr. Aninda Bhattacharya Ms. Madhumanti Das …for the State 1. The petitioner was serving as an assistant teacher in an aided school. He tendered his resignation on September 12, 2024 and joined in the service of a University. He prays for releasing his provident fund dues and admissible gratuity. 2. It appears that though the petitioner has annexed a communication made by the school authority to the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Hooghly in April 2025, but the petitioner has not forwarded any representation to the aforesaid authority. 3. As it appears that the petitioner is yet to submit a formal representation to the DI of Schools for releasing his dues, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the observation that it will be open for the petitioner to submit a formal representation before the concerned DI of Schools disclosing all facts and figures with supporting documents. 4. In the event such representation is filed, the same shall be considered by the authority strictly in accordance with law at the earliest. 5. If any amount is found due and payable to the petitioner, steps shall be taken to release the same without any further delay. 6. Any formality required to be complied with by the petitioner shall be intimated to him. 7. All parties are to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 8.
