2. The petitioner seeks higher scale of pay.
3. It appears that the application of the petitioner seeking higher scale of pay was received by the District Inspector of Schools, Secondary Education, Nadia on 2nd May, 2024. There is no formal response to the same till date.
4. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has obtained instruction from the District Inspector of Schools which mentions that the prayer of the petitioner cannot be allowed.
5. As it appears that formal communication of the fate of the petitioner’s prayer has not been made till date, accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Inspector

of Schools, Secondary Education, Nadia to formally communicate the fate of the petitioner’s application seeking higher scale of pay.
6. The reason(s) for disallowing the prayer shall be intimated to the petitioner at the earliest but positively within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order.
7. The writ petition stands disposed of.
8. Parties to act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
9. Certified server copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
