The petitioner is apprehending her arrest in connection with Simdega P.S. Case No. 02 of 2026, registered under sections 420, 467, 468, 506 and 34 of I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned C.J.M, Simdega. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that mother-in-law has already executed sale deed in favour of the informant and others and allegations are made that the petitioner has taken Rs. 12,000/- for mutation of the said land however, mutation petition was filed but the mutation has been rejected by the circle officer. He next submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent of like nature although one case has been lodged against the petitioner under the Electricity Act which is disclosed in para 23 of the petition. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail. 4. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegations are there of taking money for mutation of land however mutation was not done. 5. Considering that land has already been executed by mother-in- law however mutation has been rejected and in that view of the matter, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within two weeks ( 2026:JHHC:9825 ) from today and the learned court shall release the petitioner on terms and conditions and sureties as learned court deems fit and proper. 6.
