JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER The petitioner is before the Court seeking the following prayers: "a) Direct the Hon'ble XXXVII Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bengaluru to remember Cr No.232/14 to calendar case and further direct issuance of summons to the Respondent No.2 to 4/Accused No.1 to 3 and to complete the trial forthwith within 6 months. b) Pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice and equity." 2. The learned High Court Government Pleader on instructions and verification of the records would submit that the trial has commenced and the matter is at the stage of evidence. In that light, there is no warrant of interference in the light of the judgment of the Apex Court in the case of MINAKSHI BALA Vs. SUDHIR KUMAR1. 1 (1994) 4 SCC 142 - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010308882026 NC: 2026:KHC:37450 CRL.P No. 6681 of 2026 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would now submit that if a direction is issued for expeditious conclusion of the trial it would suffice. 4. The issue is of the year 2014 languishing in the concerned Court for about 12 years now. Therefore, I deem it appropriate to infuse finality into the proceedings with a direction to the concerned Court to take action for disposal of the proceedings, within an outer limit of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order, in accordance with law. 5. In the event, the parties to the lis would not cooperate for closure of the proceedings the concerned Court is at liberty to pass necessary orders, in accordance with law. 6.
