ORDER 10.03.2026 Having argued at some length, learned counsel for the appellant submits that the limited relief he would press for, at this stage, is that the Writ Court, which is already in seisin of the matter, be requested to consider and decide the petition at the earliest. For, the parties are in the second round of litigation and the matter is pending since 2022 and, particularly, the appellant (Kounsar Jan) has since retired from service. In the wake of the above and in the given facts and circumstances, we are not required to delve any further into the matter. However, we request the learned Writ Court to consider and dispose of the matter finally on the date fixed. And, if for any reason, it is not viable to decide the matter on the said date, the same be decided as expeditiously as possible, preferably within four weeks thereafter. Disposed of in above terms.
