By presenting this writ petition, inter alia, petitioner has prayed for direction upon the concerned police authorities to complete investigation by expeditiously taking steps in connection with Barasat Police Station Case No. 163 of 2026 dated 20th April, 2026. 3. However, it is submitted by the learned advocate representing petitioner that petitioner is the accused person in aforesaid criminal prosecution and on surrendering before Court below was granted bail on 2nd July, 2026. 2 4. Since petitioner was granted bail on 2nd July, 2026 no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 5. However, this order shall not preclude the petitioner to take steps in accordance with law, if so advised. 6.
