The grievance of the petitioner that date of birth in all the certificates issued by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has been recorded as 20.06.1995 (after correction) made on the request of the petitioner but it would be 20.06.1996. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that initially the date of birth was wrongly mentioned by the JAC as 20.06.1994 which on the request of the petitioner was corrected by the JAC as 20.06.1995 based on the application for registration with JAC but in the said application the petitioner had erroneously filled the date of birth as 20.06.1995 in place of 20.06.1996. He submits that Original Admission Register would reflect the age of the petitioner as 20.06.1996. 4. Learned counsel for the JAC submits that the petitioner herself had filled her date of birth as 20.06.1995 at the time of registering herself with the JAC and now she cannot back track. 5. After hearing the parties, this Court had called for the entire file from the JAC. The entire file has been produced. It is correct 2026:JHHC:9995 2 that in the registration application the date of birth of the petitioner has been mentioned as 20.06.1995 but it cannot be lost sight of that at the time of admission in St. Thomas Girls High School, Barharwa in 2007 her date of birth was recorded as 20.06.1996. 6. Thus, initial entry of the date of birth at the time of admission was recorded as 20.06.1996. The same should have been entered as the correct date of birth of the petitioner. 7. Thus, I direct the respondents to make necessary corrections in all the certificates of the petitioner issued by the JAC and record her date of birth as 20.06.1996. 8. The petitioner within two weeks will produce all the original certificates issued by the JAC before the Secretary, Jharkhand Academic Council along with the copy of this order who will ensure necessary corrections within a week therein and hand over the original copy of the said to the petitioner. 9.
