Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 18.03.2025 in connection with S.T. Case No.123/2025, arising out of Basia P.S. Case No.27/2025, registered under Sections 64 of the Indian Penal Code, now pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge – I – cum – Special Judge, Gumla. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner on instructions submits that out of 6 witnesses, 5 witnesses have already been examined. 4. The learned counsel for the State submits that the next date in the trial court is 24.04.2026 and on that date, the I.O. who is the sole remaining witness to be examined will appear before the court for his evidence. 5. In view of the fact that the trial is at the fag end and considering the nature of allegation and the bail application was already rejected by this Court earlier in B.A. No.8138 of 2025, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. 6. The learned counsel for the State is directed to communicate this order to the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district for compliance. 7.
