The present petition has been filed through the mother of the petitioner for releasing the detenue-Ritika by way of a writ of habeas corpus from the illegal custody of respondents No.6 and 7. 2. During the course of proceedings, it has come to notice that detenue-Ritika alongwith respondent No.6 are 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 detained in Sharjah Jail under charges of possession of drugs with intention to sell the said drugs. 3. Counsel for respondents No.5 and 8-Union of India has placed on record the e-mail dated 09.04.2026 received from the Ministry of External Affairs, New Delhi as to how the petitioner can avail pro-bono legal counselling from one of the lawyers empanelled with Counsulate through Pravasi Bhartiya Sahayata Kendra at Abu Dhabi. 4. Resultantly, we are of the considered opinion that the present petition has been rendered infructuous, in view of the events which have taken place as the said detenue has moved out of the jurisdiction of this Court in pursuance of her career advancements. 5. Accordingly, we close the present proceedings/petition. Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall stands disposed off. (G.S.
