Petitioner is before this court seeking for the following reliefs: a. Writ of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 herein to considered the representation of the petitioner date 22.05.2026 vide Annexure-J b. writ of mandamus directing any other social media taking the name of the petitioner as husband of the accused no.1. c. Issue writ of mandamus directing Respondent no.01 and respondent no. 4 herein to remove the name of the petitioner as Police Records, In Crime No. 12 accused no.1 in Fir and police records in Crime NO.123/2025 and 67/20-26 dated 25.03.2025 and 16.02.2026 (Annexure-G and H) and video uploaded in the you tube in the interest of justice and equity. d. Issue any other order or writ which this Hon'ble court deems fit under the facts and circumstance of the case. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that by way of the representation dated 22.05.2026 at Annexure-J, provided to respondent No.1/Commissioner of Police, the petitioner sought for action to be taken against respondent No.4, who is a YouTuber for having made certain allegations and taking the name of the petitioner. 5. Action not having been taken, the petitioner is before this Court seeking for a mandamus to act on the representation, for a direction to any other social media from taking the name of the petitioner, and a - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010412832026 NC: 2026:KHC:37318 WP No. 18762 of 2026 mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 to remove the name of the petitioner as husband of accused No.1 in Crime No.123/2025 and 67 of 2026 as also the video which has been uploaded on YouTube. 6. Having considered the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, such a request by way of a representation cannot be directed to be considered by issuance of a mandamus. It is for the petitioner to avail appropriate remedies available under the appropriate law. 7. Reserving such liberty, petition stands disposed. 8. The Registry is directed to return all the original documents and/or certified copies filed by the petitioner, upon compliance with the due formalities.
