The report dated 15th July, 2026 affirmed by affidavit has been filed by the Conservator of Forests (HQ) one Mr. P. K. Paul. 2. It appears that the petitioner’s land is not forest land and is classified as a revenue land. 3. In that view of the matter, the Sub Divisional Officer, South Andaman District shall take up the petitioner’s application for conversion of the land from Hilly to House Site. 4. The Sub Divisional Officer shall pass appropriate order having due regards to the fact that the adjacent sites have been converted from Hilly to House Site. 5. All other authorities, inter alia, the Town Planning Department shall accordingly consider giving no objection to the application of the petitioner and the Sub Divisional Officer shall act accordingly. 6. Let a reasoned order be passed by the Sub Divisional Officer within a period of two months from date of communication of copy of this order. 2 7. With the aforesaid observation, WPA/311/2026 stands disposed of. 8. All parties are directed to act on a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
