The prayer in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to take appropriate action to remove the illegal encroachment made by the respondents 5 to 7 on the public pathway comprised in Survey No.266/1C1, converted into T.S.No.109, Ward-E, Block-2, situated at East Street, Millgate, 27th Ward, Karuthapuliyanpatti, Melur Taluk, Madurai District. 2. Recording the above submission, the authorities are directed to conduct a survey in the place in question and during survey, if any encroachment is found, the same shall be removed by due process of law after affording sufficient opportunity to the private respondents and others concerned. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
