The present applicants, being two out of a total number of four accused, who were granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 12.02.2026 in CRM (A) 49 of 2026, could not surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court and pray for regular bail within the time supplied. They could not arrange for necessary surety. They pray for extension of time to surrender. Heard the learned counsel for the State. It appears that due to certain unforeseen circumstances, the applicants could not surrender before the jurisdictional Court within the stipulated time of two weeks. In view of the above and in the interest of justice, the time to surrender before the learned jurisdictional Court is extended by two weeks from this date. The rest of the order shall remain same. With these observations and directions, the application being CRAN 2 of 2026 is disposed of. 2 Urgent photostat certified copy of this order may be supplied to the parties expeditiously, if applied for.
