So far as the present petitioner, namely, Kausik Mukherjee is concerned, he has not been named in the FIR or the written complaint which has been specifically contended by the investigating officer of Rishra Police Station. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner till date is not wanted in connection with the present case and/or there are any materials which have surfaced till date, I am of the opinion that the prayer so sought for by the petitioner of the case is uncalled for at this stage. 2 Accordingly, CRM(A)2241 of 2026 is disposed of with a direction that in case the investigating officer requires attendance of the petitioner for the purpose of the present case, a seven day’s notice be served upon the petitioner before jeopardizing his liberty.
