Heard the learned counsel on either side. 3. The learned counsel for the 2nd respondent made her objections on the ground that there is an exorbitant delay of 6078 days in filing the petition to bring on record the legal heirs of the 1st appellant and no valid reasons have been assigned in the affidavit filed in support of these petitions. 4. Considering the grounds raised in the affidavit filed in support of 6/8 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WMP(MD) Nos.6690 of 2026 these petitions and the objections raised on the side of the 2nd respondent, these petitions are allowed subject to payment of a cost of a sum of Rs.2,500/- (Rupees two thousand five hundred only) to the learned counsel for the 2nd respondent on or before 11.06.2026, failing which, these petitions shall stand automatically dismissed without further reference to this Court. 5.
