Case No. 2276 of 2023, pending before the Court of the Learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kandi, arising out of Burwan Police Station Case No. 485 of 2023 dated December 7, 2023, registered under Sections 341, 302, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. It appears that, by an order dated July 13, 2026, passed by the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Kandi, Murshidabad, the case has been committed and transferred to the Court of the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court, Kandi, for trial and disposal. The next date has been fixed on July 27, 2026, for the appearance of the accused persons who are on court bail and for the production of the accused persons who are in custody.
Since it appears that the original charge sheet was submitted on February 29, 2024, and a supplementary charge sheet was thereafter filed on October 30, 2025, I direct the Learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track, 1st Court, Kandi, to conclude the hearing on the question of charge as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties. Accordingly, CRR 2393 of 2026 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
