1. In the present petition, the challenge is to the election of the President, Senior Vice President and Vice President of Municipal Council, Zirakpur as elected on 22.06.2026 on the ground that the election of respondents No. 7 to 9 was fraudulent.
2.
Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners has raised an argument that the meeting which took place, was not in accordance with law and rather, petitioners were forced to attend the meeting so as to elect the private respondents.

4. Learned Senior counsel appearing on behalf of the elected candidates submits that the photographs prior to election as well as after the election showing the participation of the petitioners in the election process along with the other elected Councillors of a particular party have been brought on record to show that the victory of the private respondents is being celebrated with victory signs by one of the petitioners which shows that now a story is being concocted to show that the election is bad for extraneous considerations.
5. Faced with this situation, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, after getting instructions from the petitioners, who are SATYAWAN 2026.07.17 09:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
