THIS WRIT PETITION IS LISTED FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN 'B' GROUP, THIS DAY, AN ORDER IS MADE AS UNDER:
ORAL ORDER Sri.Sanjay., counsel on behalf of Sri.Siddeswaraswamy.S.B., for the petitioners and Sri.Hareesh Bhandary.T., counsel for the respondents have appeared in person. Counsel Sri.Hareesh Bhandary.T., submits he would file the vakalath on behalf of the respondents. If the vakalath is filed office is directed to accept the same. 2. Counsel for the respective parties urged several
contentions. The arguments were heard and the papers perused with care.
3. Counsel appearing for the respective parties jointly submit that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P. No.106898/2025 and connected matters,
disposed of on 15.12.2025. Hence, this writ petition also

requires to be disposed of in terms of the order passed in the aforesaid writ petitions.
4. The oral submission is placed on record.
5. Taking note of the said submission, the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P.No.106898/2025 and connected matters, disposed of on 15.12.2025. A mandamus is issued to the respondents-Corporation to pay interest on the delayed payment of leave encashment at 6% per annum within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In the event the Corporation fails to pay the said amount within twelve weeks, the petitioners shall become entitled to interest at 9% per annum from the date the payment fell due until the date of its realization.
6. With the above observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
